Tatjana Jakovljevic is Serbian contemporary artist and professor of Visual Communication in Dubai.
Her artistic activity has been developed through practise of classical sculpture and contemporary design. Educated in L.A and Belgrade, as a Master of Fine Arts, she created a number of classical sculptures in the public space / on facades of buildings in the centre of Belgrade. Parallel research through psychological phenomena of “virtual space”, through artistic projects and experiments with new media, led to development of her authentic and recognisable “visual language”.
Her latest work GeoAbstract cycle evolved through experiments within integration of traditional and contemporaneous artistic mediums, denying the borders between sculptural modelling, painting and digital image, beyond our conventional perception of 3D and 2D form.
She has exhibited her work in London, Belgrade, Moscow, Athens and Dubai.
