Trhas is a contemporary artist focussing on abstract and colourful paintings, using various mixed media, oil, acrylic, and water colour.

Her recent works concentrate on Middle Eastern art. Her paintings reflect a unique imagination of various forms and shapes, which is inspired by a myriad of cultural symbols, and imagery from distinctive architectural features as well as the endless flow of geometrical patterns and designs.

Residing in various places has given a great influence to create her own unique style; therefore, she expresses the diverse cultural experiences she has been exposed to.

Her work needs careful observation as the eye discovers much more than the first glance would let the observer believe.

Since 1992, the artist has participated in several solo, and group exhibitions in the United States, Belgium, Germany and Dubai.
