Expressive artist Marianne Y. Naerebout specialized in painting from simple up to multiple techniques on linen, paper, silk screen, ceramics and wood objects, using oil as well as acrylics. Her work is characterized by an explosion of colours which due to subtle lines radiates a vibrating, positive energy.

Born in Rotterdam, The Nederlands, Marianne began her art studies at the College of Art, St. Joost in the Netherlands and completed it at the Cyprus College of Arts.

Her sculptures and paintings show her inner world: a portrait of a life in four continents. Most of her life she lived abroad, including eight years in the Middle East, soaking up the nomad life and enjoying it greatly.

She currently divides her time between her studios in The Netherlands, Italy and Tanzania. These are the places where she merges the colours and shapes which bring about feelings of joy for everyone.

She has had successful exhibitions in Miami, Palm Springs London, Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam, Muscat, Amman, Damascus, Kuala Lumpur, Apricale and now Dubai. Her art can be found in private and corporate collections and museums.
